What better way to start the day than with a truly classic clip from one of the great comedians of all time, Sam Kinison. This clip features Kinison’s first ever appearance on the David Letterman show (which we believe was also his first ever TV appearance) and it’s a great reminder of how amazing Kinison was. And of how awful a guy’s 1985 mustache can look.

In a bit of shockingly sad news, comedian Bernie Mac has passed away at the age of 50. Mac was one of the most unique comics of the past couple decades - here’s a look at some of his best work:

Hidden away in a Hollywood basement is what may be the best weekly comedy show in the city of Los Angeles - Twelve Shiny Nickels. We checked out the show this week and were very impressed, so we figured we’d share one of the better sets from this weekend’s show with you. Here’s a clip of Michael Kosta explaining the role he played in the recent LA earthquake and passing out a few business cards.

The George Carlin tributes continue to come pouring in, and the latest clip to surface is this one featuring Carlin’s monologue from the first-ever episode of Saturday Night Live.

Comedian George Carlin died today of heart failure in Los Angeles.

Carlin is obviously a legend, and was one of the most talented, revolutionary, groundbreaking comedians of all time. Here’s some of his work - he’ll be missed.
